Graduating Cum Laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic West in 1988, Dr. Lisa Stein has created a team of superb chiropractors who provide thorough and professional chiropractic care in a warm and caring environment. At Monta Vista Family Chiropractic, people are treated like individuals, and children are given a special welcome. Having a whole body view of functional health care, Dr. Stein and team integrate careful listening with thorough clinical examinations.

Dr. Stein is well-versed in numerous chiropractic techniques, allowing her to help a wide variety of people, including infants with special needs, seniors with osteoporosis, serious athletes, and pregnant mothers.

Treatment methods for the spine and extremities include:

- Thompson Drop Table

- Activator

- Cranial and TMJ Care

- Webster Pre and Post Natal Method (certified)

- Pattern Functional Adjusting 

- Soft Tissue Care including Muscle Release Technique, Muscle Energy Work, Trigger Point, IASTM and KinesioTaping. 

Dr. Stein includes functional flexibility, strength training, and biomechanical/ergonomic instruction as an important aspect of each patient's treatment plan. She also can provide nutritional counseling for a wide variety of needs ranging from weight loss to energy or immune enhancement.

Dr. Stein enjoys hiking, biking, gym workouts, cooking, reading and travel. She lives in the Santa Cruz mountains with her husband and their two neurotic cats, Lynx and Cora.
